Denver Santa Claus Shop
Representatives from Larry H. Miller (LHM) Dealerships presented a check for $10,000 to the
Denver Santa Claus Shop (DSCS) during the grand opening of the annual Christmas store on December 8, 2017. The donation allows the organization to purchase toys, books and games for children, ages newborn to 11 years old. The shop is open to per-qualified, low-income families, referred by social service agencies, whose children might not otherwise have a Christmas.Â
In addition to the $10,000 grant, Denver-area LHM dealerships
collected toys at their stores throughout the month of November to support the nonprofit's goal to provide "a toy to every girl and boy." Since 1931, DSCS has honored their founder's mission to provide toys to as many children of low-income families as possible at Christmas. Throughout the history of the organization, more than one million local children have benefited and received gifts during the holidays.
