5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies two safety concerns for the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan. A backup camera malfunction can create a black or frozen rear-view image, reducing visibility while reversing and increasing crash risk. Missing front seat-track bolts can allow the seat to move forward and backward without restriction, increasing the risk of injury in a collision. Waiting to investigate a recall can leave these conditions unresolved when you need the vehicle's safety systems most. A free VIN check and manufacturer remedy provide a reassuring way to confirm whether your Tiguan needs attention. If you notice a camera display problem or receive a recall notice, schedule an appointment promptly.
