5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information describes fuel rail bolts that may loosen and cause a fuel leak or fire, a replacement master cylinder that may leak and reduce braking, and a shift mechanism that may permit key removal outside Park and create rollaway risk. Other recalls address mismatched VIN markings, incorrect tire-loading information that may contribute to overloading, and a 1.4-liter engine block that may seize and potentially lock the wheels. Waiting on a known safety concern can increase risk. A VIN check identifies the campaign connected to your Jetta and the manufacturer remedy required for that vehicle.
