I completed the survey and submitted it, but for some reason, it didn't transmit.
I was pleased that Amanda asked about my transportation needs while my Beetle was in the service department. No other VW dealer has ever offered a loaner. This is a great service, and I very much appreciated not having to sit in your waiting area, as nice as it is, for the time it took to complete the repair(s) on my car.
I always forget that, when I take my car into a dealer for service, the mechanics will invariably find more repairs than the one for which I scheduled the appointment. Then, I am usually unhappy, because I didn't prepare myself for this inevitability. The car needed a tensioner, which was just over $200 and an oil change. My total bill was almost $1400. The work most likely needed doing, but I just wasn't prepared for it. There is no dealer service department at which this fails to happen, so you aren't different from the others in this regard.
Overall, I was pleased with the service Amanda provided. I will return, as I purchased the three-oil change package. If I bring the Beetle in for the oil change and leave with another $1,000-plus bill, I will be very unhappy.
